At any rate Revelation clearly says 1/3 of the earth's grass is burnt up, not the whole thing.
I am coming to understand the terrible prophecies of Revelation as having limits and ends; the mercies of God afterward is the focus even of Revelation. We probably are best when we echo that mercy of God; not only is the judgment confined as to duration, but also extent and we should focus on the promises afterward.Patrick Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01378787861424242251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15349502.post-30868496604793023412010-08-27T21:34:50.035-07:002010-08-27T21:34:50.035-07:00Studying the changes upon the earth during and aft...Studying the changes upon the earth during and after the great flood has me a little freaked out about the next time God "destroys" the earth with fire instead of water.
Is that destruction the same thing you are talking about, or will the whole earth be completely gone and re-created?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
